Matthew Stanton appointed CEO of ACP Magazines

Matthew Stanton, the current Chief Operating Officer and CFO of ACP Magazines, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of ACP Magazines following the announcement of Phil Scott's stepping down.

Mr Stanton will take on his new role effective 1 January, 2012.

"Matt is an outstanding magazine executive with excellent experience from his time with ACP and before that Emap in the UK. He is across all the opportunities and challenges facing the business and will lead ACP through its next phase of growth," David Gyngell, the CEO of Nine Entertainment Company, said.

Mr Stanton said: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead ACP at this important time in its history and I look forward to leading what is the industry's best team."
